Video in the Middle Modules
The VIM project is in the process of developing 40 two-hour online modules to support mathematics teacher learning about linear functions and geometric transformations, as well as recommended sequences of particular modules (pathways).
The breadth of modules and pathways will provide teachers and teacher educators considerable flexibility to create tailored experiences that meet specific needs. Modules are designed for use both in facilitated and individual contexts, incorporating a variety of technological tools that support online collaboration, including NowComment and Padlet. The modules integrate these different technologies into a single online learning platform using Canvas.
After the NSF-funded research study, all modules and pathways will be made available as open educational resources. Watch this site for future access to the modules!
