Delivery formats

VIM modules are designed to be offered in three different digital delivery formats, each of which offers unique affordances for teachers. In a Spring 2020 pilot study comparing the three delivery formats, all three were found to be equally effective and appealing to teachers.

WestEd Facilitated

Work on a pre-determined sequence of VIM modules with a small group, led by an expert WestEd facilitator or other instructional leader.

Locally Facilitated

Explore modules and topics that interest your group of teachers in any order you like, collaborating with one another online with a facilitator from your school or district.

Individual

Individuals work on modules selected either by a professional development coordinator or by the individual, interacting with other participants online.
